Seribu Islands Regency Administration has repaired eight damaged houses in Tidung Island due to tornado a few days ago. The reparation is raising funds from residents.

"Total fundraising that has been collected is Rp 50 million. For building materials, from the government," disclosed Budi Utomo, Regent of Seribu Islands, Monday (10/3).

Budi explains, the aid is only dedicated to those who built the building in accordance with the rules. 

"The current house is much better than before," he expressed.

He has reported to Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama related to damage in the roof of the Tidung Island Urban Village office due to a falling BTS tower.

"Predictably, repair for the damaged roof would spend Rp 200 million. While the fund for office repair is unavailable," he finished.
